Chiang Mai, located in the northern mountainous region, has some of the country's most beautiful waterfalls.

Surrounded by flourishing jungles, serene landscapes, and refreshing cascades, these natural wonders are a destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers to explore.

Mae Sa, one of the most visited waterfalls, is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. The waterfall, with multiple levels, provides an opportunity for people to hike, swim, and bask in the serene environment. Another favorite destination of natives and travelers is Bua Tong Waterfall, or the "Sticky Waterfall," as its limestone rocks allow tourists to climb on its surface without much difficulty.

For something in a more discrete location, Huay Kaew Waterfall near Chiang Mai University, is a peaceful retreat just a few minutes from town( what town). And for its sheer torrent and misty ambiance, Wachirathan Waterfall, within Doi Inthanon National Park, will not disappoint.

Every waterfall in Chiang Mai is unique in charm, making it ideal for relaxing and discovering. Whether hiking through dense forests or splashing in crystal pools(photos), these waterfalls are an invigorating escape from city life.
